The Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA) is a brief and effective screening tool used to identify potential signs of mild cognitive dysfunction. It is not a diagnostic tool, but rather a way to detect changes that may warrant further medical evaluation.

MoCA evaluates a variety of cognitive domains, including:

To ensure accuracy, the assessment must be administered and scored by a Certified MoCA Rater—someone who has completed the required training and passed the certification course. This ensures consistency and validity in test administration and scoring.
